Wednesdays here are usually hectic – Tatiana has Girl Scouts, Kyle has Art/Drama. Today neither of them had any after school activities so they’re both home, enjoying our warm weather (let’s hope it stays after the 30 degree nights we’ve been experiencing).
Tatiana’s day included a group-swinging activity on the new playground equipment. She and some other girls were swinging each other on the tire swing (spinning it with multiple girls riding) and it broke – with two girls on it. I didn’t ask where it broke, if it was rope or what… This qualifies as a need to know basis and I SO don’t need to know…
Kyle tells me he dove for a base while at PE and ended up with a ball to the face; that will go well with his black eye from a little bruhaha he had earlier in the week. Ah, to be young and hormonal again.
The Nintendo DS and games were missing from his backpack, by the way. Tomorrow during class Coach Finch is going to help him try to figure out who stole it. I think it’s a long shot, but then hey – I’m a big ol’ skeptic so what do I know. That boy of mine is one of the most positive people I’ve ever met – let him have his hopes.
